INTRODUCTION
In 2007 I had the privilege of working with a first year masters student from the Dalhousie School of Architecture. Her interest was in developing drawing skills in the service of illustrating architectural design. Through a series of activities intended to broaden her technical repertoire while adding to her aesthetic appreciation of mark making, we designed a series of assignments that included her participation in the Drawing Lab’s activity. The results took the form of a journal that she kept to archive activity and reflect on progress, which can be downloaded as a PDF here.
