Idea born – Bryan Maycock (NSCAD University Foundation Studies) and David York (NSCAD University Art Education) meet with Dr. Raymond Klein, (Dalhousie University, Perceptual Psychology) to discuss the possibility of testing attention while drawing. Due to lack of technology to monitor eye movements effectively, the idea is put on hold although Maycock and Klein stay in touch and Klein Student Kristie Dukewich consults with Maycock in a study The effect of gaze on gaze direction while looking at art.
