Jack Wong (BA Applied science UBC & BFA NSCAD University) hired as Lab as Manager and Research assistant
Language & Schema Study – Pilot testing begins for a study on the effect of language and schema on drawing performance. Drawing Lab Meets the Media – Drawing Lab researchers Mathew Reichertz and Ray Klein interviewed by Stephanie Domet on the radio program Mainstreet on CBC (audio and summary), and Marilyn Smulders for the NSCAD website. |

Research activities opened up to NSCAD community – The lab begins offering free figure drawing and drawing tutoring sessions to the NSCAD community, as part of an explorative project on the pedagogical applications of the digital pen display.
